Grass-Fed/Grass-Finished, Pasture-Raised Beef Tallow:

Beef tallow (pure suet) is the star of the show in all of our whipped balms. It has been used for centuries for skincare and is overflowing with health benefits which makes it the perfect choice for clean skin care. Beef tallow is anti-inflammatory and contains vitamins A, D, E and K. It is full of the fats and lipids that are found in supple healthy human skin which makes it naturally compatible with our skin. All of our tallow is sourced from grass-fed/grass-finished, pasture-raised cattle in the western USA and is dry-rendered to buttery perfection!

 

Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil:

Jojoba oil has also been used for centuries for skin care. It is deeply hydrating and conditioning and aids in sealing moisture into the skin. It is non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores like some of the heavier oils and is a better alternative for those with acne prone skin or breakouts. Jojoba oil is rich in flavonoids and vitamin E which is a potent antioxidant that protects against oxidative damage to our skin. Our jojoba oil is organic, cold pressed, non-GMO certified, cruelty free, sustainably sourced and minimally processed.

 

Organic Australian Sandalwood Essential Oil

Sandalwood has been used for thousands of years in Indian and Chinese medicine. Traditionally, sandalwood has also been used as an anti-aging product due to its toning properties which can help reduce wrinkles, scars, and skin darkening. It is good for all skin types. The aroma promotes a peaceful ambience, perfect for contemplation, centering, and meditation.

Amber Essential Oil

Amber oil is great for skin regeneration, reducing spots, circles, and redness because it helps increase circulation. It can help heal acne, pimples, minor cuts and scrapes because its natural antiseptic effects. When blended with sandalwood, amber provides an uplifting aroma which can help center and calm the mind.

Steam-distilled Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon oil is high in vitamins A, B, and C and contains antioxidant, cleansing and purifying properties. It can help balance oily skin and hair, and even ease insect bites. The bright and fresh aroma is uplifting and energizing. 

The distillation method of the essential oil we use creates a product that is not phototoxic.

Amyris is a great oil to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in mature or sensitive skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties, which can provide relief from insect bites or other irritations. Its woody aroma balances well with sandalwood, offering balance and peaceful feelings.
