Grass-Fed/Grass-Finished, Pasture-Raised Beef Tallow:

Beef tallow is the star of the show in all of our whipped balms. It has been used for centuries for skincare and is overflowing with health benefits which makes it the perfect choice for clean skin care. Beef tallow is anti-inflammatory and contains vitamins A, D, E and K. It is full of the fats and lipids that are found in supple healthy human skin which makes it naturally compatible with our skin. All of our tallow is sourced from grass-fed/grass-finished, pasture-raised cattle and is wet rendered multiple times to remove the impurities and odor. What is left is beautiful, odorless tallow along with all of the nutrients and wonderful benefits.

 

Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil:

Jojoba oil has also been used for centuries for skin care. It is deeply hydrating and conditioning and aids in sealing moisture into the skin. It is non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores like some of the heavier oils and is a better alternative for those with acne prone skin or breakouts. Jojoba oil is rich in flavonoids and vitamin E which is a potent antioxidant that protects against oxidative damage to our skin. Our jojoba oil is organic, cold pressed, non-GMO certified, cruelty free, sustainably sourced and minimally processed.

 

Organic Raw Manuka Honey:

Raw Manuka honey contains anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It can help sooth and relieve inflammation, lock in moisture to prevent/treat dry skin and has been used for wound healing since ancient times. Studies suggest that Manuka honey is also helpful in treating conditions such as eczema and rosacea. Our manuka honey is sourced from New Zealand, it is raw, organic, non-GMO and unpasteurized.

Palo Santo Essential Oil:

Palo santo has been traditionally used for grounding, centering, and is known to reducing anxiety. Its name is Spanish for "holy wood" - which helps ward off negative energies. Palo santo essential oil is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant qualities, can be helpful in cases of arthritis and tension. The oil has cleansing properties which can clear congested pores and keep breakouts under control.

Scent: woody, sweet, slightly fruity

 

Dalmatian Sage Essential Oil:

Sage has camphor as a key compound, which has been found to promote healthy skin-cell growth, slow signs of aging, and decrease wrinkle formation. The herb’s carnosol and carbonic acid help treat sun-related skin damage and other inflammatory skin problems, including speeding up wound healing. Sage extracts have been found to improve memory, brain function, mood, and focus.

Scent: pungent, warm-spicy, and herbaceous

 

Coffee Bean Essential Oil:

Coffee boosts collagen production, helping to keep it firm and plumping out fine lines and wrinkles. Its high levels of vitamin E and fatty acids boost natural elastin, and its antioxidant properties can help treat acne. Additionally, it can help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Scent: fresh-brewed coffee

 

Organic Copaiba Oleoresin Essential Oil: 

Copaiba helps keep complexion clear and healthy because of its cleansing and soothing properties. It helps tighten skin and even skin tone. It can help neutralize free radicals that contribute to premature aging, promoting collagen production. Using copaiba oil contributes to a healthy and radiant complexion.

Scent: creamy-woody scent

How to use:

Begin with a small amount (a little goes a long way) and gently rub into your skin. Enjoy the feel of your moisturized, nourished and rejuvenated skin.

To help your tallow balm stay fresh longer, keep in a cool, dry place with lid tightly capped, away from direct sunlight.
